As regular customers may know, Alan's second novel was to be was to be 'RUN', but for a variety of reasons this has been delayed, probably until late 2009.

Instead, we are pleased to have secured another of Alan's classic creepy ghost stories, 'THE BLACK PEAR'.

Originally written as a six-part TV drama, which the BBC described as 'an incredibly tense, pacey and creepy ghost story', Alan rewrote it as a book to be released in conjunction with the TV series. However, the series was never made, and the book went on the back burner. Then we got our hands on it... and it's far too good not to see the light of day!

'THE BLACK PEAR' is another inventive, unusual ghost story, aimed principally at the 12+ age group, but which will once again have much in it to intrigue and fascinate adult readers.
