Submissions Policy:

At present Eyelevel Books does not take works of fiction for conventional publishing. We are, however, always interested in well-written, market-led non-fiction. If you have a project (not necessarily even a finished book yet) that you feel would fit our current areas of interest, please do get in touch. A sample of your writing, your background in the subject and a good appraisal of the market you feel your book would fit are a good starting point. We will endeavour to get back to you within a month. Proposals by email are fine; by post is better. You don't need a 'name' to send your work to as we do not have a slush pile that gets ignored for six months then thrown back in the post by the office monkey. As long as you have a good idea of the market you are writing for, your work will be considered, whoever you are.

Note that we are only interested in hearing directly from authors. We are committed to finding genuine new talent (of which there is a huge reserve 'out there'!), so do not deal with agents who will already have screened out too many good authors.
